Enrollment Process
All children begin with a trial session in Week 1 of the term (50% of the usual class price). This allows us to assess whether your child is ready for group or private lessons.
Because our classes are small and the instruments highly specialised, not every child will be offered a place straight away. Some children thrive better in one-on-one lessons, and others need a little more time to develop before joining a group.
After the trial, Tabea will call you personally to discuss your child’s progress and confirm if an enrolment offer will be made for Term 4.
Parents can select an instrument for their child during enrollment, or leave the choice to us — we’ll recommend the most suitable instrument based on age, size, and skill level.
This way, every child gets the best start.
Music OSHC FAQ
-
Children can learn violin, viola, or cello in group classes. Most students choose violin, but we’ll help guide you to the right fit based on your child’s age, size and interest. Around 80% of students start with violin.
Double bass is not currently offered in group classes as it is too large for this age group.
We plan to offer other instruments and choir in the future. Please register your interest to be notified when these classes become available. Your interest also lets us know which classes to prioritise.
-
Instruments are provided for class use only. Families who wish to purchase their own can access a discount through our partner music shop. Please speak to Tabea directly.
