For P.M BAM, students are collected from Yeronga State School and walk with our staff to the Klangfarben studio.
♫ Students walk together in a supervised group with two Klangfarben staff
♫ Students remain under staff supervision between the school and the studio
♫ Staff and students wear high-visibility vests during the walk
♫ No road crossings on the walk between the school and the studio
Many families choose BAM because it allows children to enjoy music without adding another school drop-off or pickup to the day.
We’re just a few steps from Yeronga Park Kindergarten, and a 7 minute walk from Yeronga State School.
The BAM Experience
Each session combines creative music-making with a calm and structured routine.
Sessions are led by experienced educators who specialise in working with primary school children. The program has been designed by an experienced Queensland primary music teacher.
Students explore rhythm, instruments and musical activities in a supportive group environment while building the foundations of musical understanding.
A BAM session may include:
♫ Rhythm and percussion activities that build coordination and timing
♫ Bucket drumming, boomwhackers and hands-on rhythm games
♫ Ukulele and beginner instrument exploration
♫ Listening activities and short instrument showcases
♫ Musical games that develop listening, memory and coordination
♫ All instruments provided — no prior musical experience required
♫ Optional small-group instrumental lessons during the session
Through regular music-making, students develop confidence, listening skills, coordination and teamwork while discovering the joy of making music together.
Places are limited each term so every child can actively participate and make music.

Where Musical Curiosity Begins
BAM is designed for primary school children who enjoy music, creativity and hands-on learning.
The program works particularly well for children who:
♫ Enjoy rhythm, instruments and creative music activities
♫ Are curious about learning music but may not yet play an instrument
♫ Benefit from a structured and welcoming group environment
♫ Would like to explore instruments before committing to formal lessons
BAM is often the first step in a child’s musical journey.
